Heartily disparaging "Looking Backwards" (by Edward Bellamy). Begging Moore to visit on Sunday, thanking him for the plaque (of Minnie Terry, see MA 1625.64), and mentioning mutual acquaintances. With a postscript mentioning his plans to read "Le Lyns dans la ValleĢe," by Balzac as well as "a very bad shocker, 'The Boy Princes, '" and mentioning the literary figures Macmurdo, Horne, Randall Davies and Rossetti's periodical "The Germ."
